How the on-site service works

You don't have to go anywhere. It takes four steps from your first call to settlement.

  1. Call or WhatsApp

Briefly tell us what happened and where your vehicle is. We arrange an appointment, often the same day.

  2. On-site inspection

We come to you, document the damage with photos and take measurements, including at the garage.

  3. Your report

You receive a written accident damage report as proof for the insurer.

  4. Settlement

After you assign your claim to us, we bill the other party's insurer directly. Details under Costs and process.

Why an independent assessor from Berlin?

After an accident that was not your fault, you are generally free to choose your assessor. An assessor sent by the other party's insurer works on the insurer's behalf.

CARCHECK Berlin is an independent vehicle assessment office, not tied to insurers or garages. The owner and assessor is Tilo Neumann. His training and certificates are listed under Qualifications, and our customers' experiences under Reviews.

An assessor from Berlin knows the city and can be on site at short notice. The report calculates the repair costs using the hourly rates of specialist garages in your region. Garages interested in working with us will find information under For garages.
